EXPERIENCE
Ms. Keck joined Thomas Pollart & Miller LLC in 2004. She
represents employers and insurance carriers before state courts
and administrative agencies, and focuses her practice on
workers’ compensation. During her career, she has litigated
hundreds of workers’ compensation claims, served as an
Administrative Law Judge for the Colorado Division of Workers’
Compensation, drafted proposed workers’ compensation
legislation, and testified before the Colorado Legislature on
workers’ compensation issues.
Ms. Keck first began defending workers’ compensation claims in
1982 as in-house counsel for Pinnacol Assurance (formerly CCIA).
In 1990, after serving as Pinnacol’s Chief Counsel for several
years, Ms. Keck continued her workers’ compensation focus, in
private practice. In 1994, McCrea & Keck, LLC was formed and Ms.
Keck served as a Managing Member for six years while continuing
her insurance defense practice, remaining focused on workers’
compensation and employment law. In 2000, after serving as an
Administrative Law Judge for the Colorado Division of Workers’
Compensation, Ms. Keck joined Treece, Alfrey, Musat & Bosworth,
P.C., as a Partner, again focusing her practice on insurance
defense, with an emphasis on workers’ compensation. When she
joined Thomas Pollart & Miller two years later, Ms. Keck
continued her career-long focus on workers’ compensation.
