EXPERIENCE
Ms. Tarler joined Thomas Pollart & Miller LLC in 2008. She
represents employers and insurance carriers before state courts
and administrative agencies, and acts as a Hearing Officer for
the Fire and Police Pension Association of Colorado. She has
argued before the Colorado Supreme Court and the Colorado Court
of Appeals. Ms. Tarler focuses her practice on workers’
compensation.
Following law school, Ms. Tarler joined a small civil litigation
practice where she first began defending workers’ compensation
claims. In 1991, she moved to Pinnacol Assurance (formerly CCIA)
where she continued her workers’ compensation focus. In 1996,
she joined Anderson, Campbell and Laugesen, where she continued
a workers’ compensation focus. In 2006, as a Shareholder of what
had become Sutherland Tarler & Laugesen, PC, Ms. Tarler left to
pursue other practice areas, including labor and employment law.
When she joined Thomas Pollart & Miller two years later, she
resumed an exclusive practice of workers’ compensation.
